Beautiful blue eyes
My little Angel boy
A perfect sweetheart
Bringing so much joy.
Such an innocent time
Of hugs, laughter and fun
With so much to live for
Dearest, darling one.
Just eighteen months old
Learning to walk and read
A curious disposition
A lovely smile indeed.
Missing you so much
Thinking of you daily
Love you forever
Precious Angel baby.

That is clear. And when did he read?

He loved picture books from the word go, listening to stories, and then Ladybird books with a colourful picture on one page, and the word on the other.
For some reason, the first letters he recognised were “BP”, from the petrol station ~ I think we did a lot of driving with him.
Frank started to read simple phrases before he was four years old. A very quick learner. And then an incredibly avid reader. He adored his books.

Really, whereabouts?

On one of your earlier posts. He is walking away from the water towards you. Or have I misremembered that?

Aha, for some silly reason on my part, I thought you had actually ‘seen’ him, either here in Cornwall, or in and around Wootton and Bransgore, when he attended the Fortune Centre at Avon Tyrrell. Just my mind playing silly tricks.
But you are right, I did post a picture (or more than one!), of Frank on the beach reading.

Beautiful photos…I now have Elton John’s song “Blue Eyes” running through my head! It’s a great song, I think…
