Wednesday 12th April
What a fabulously sunny, blue-sky day it has been.
We left the hotel about 10:30am, and spent seven hours walking around the marina, old town and cathedral. Shaded, cobbled streets were full of interesting shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.
And then back again this evening to watch the sun set, see the sky turn pink and just generally chill out, sit back and people watch.
And of course Frankie Angel Bear came too.
Love you sweetheart

Thank you so much.
The cathedral was not much to look at from the outside, but when you went in through the doors, it was like an Aladdin’s cave. So beautiful.

We haven’t been Faro before ~ just a map, and a few irregular streets and alleys to follow.
It’s amazing what you find around each corner.
And I love watching the sea too.

Are you in Faro, Portugal? The architecture look so much like we saw in Spain. They have shaded streets also!

Yes, Faro, South West Portugal.
It’s a great city, with twelfth century roots back to the Egyptians.
Much the of cathedral was added to in the sixteen and seventeen hundreds. Such a lot of history.

https://polldaddy.com/js/rating/rating.jsWhen we went to Spain, my sister-in-law recommend us to go to Portugal, but we were with a tour, so didn’t go. Maybe later.
