Saturday 9th September
Sitting around, waiting
Listening to sounds, raining
Watching palms, swaying
No one around, driving
Fingers on counter, tapping
Television, daunting
Weather reports, shocking
Hurricane watch, ongoing
My love for you, enduring
Beloved Angel son

Thank you.
We are fine at the moment, waiting for the strongest winds, approaching in the next few hours.

I’m glad you feel safe where you’re. It’s not the kind of sitting around you want to do, but nothing else you can do. Watch TV, maybe, not the news!

Thank you.
Sitting around, watching, waiting, unable to go out and about….
We flick from one channel to another ~ news, Weather Channel, a film……
And as you say, nothing else we can do…..

Yes, it will hit the Keys Sunday morning, and Florida west in the afternoon or night, then go north. Hopefully will be over by Monday leaving all the damages behind with 95 mph! Oh NO!!

It really is quite terrifying in size and power.

You probably are okay. It goes west after hitting the Keys. I’m afraid the Keys will have nothing left after it moves away. I wonder if they have underground shelter!

We are fine, thank you.
Just looking at the news and pictures coming out of the Keys now ~ they really took a pasting.

Many of the Weather Channel reports are pretty scary (sometimes unnecessarily so).

Unfortunately, sensationalizing sells more news. Praying for your safety.

Stay safe, I’m watching CNN at the moment and it’s almost as if this hurricane is deliberately keeping the world waiting in anticipation.
Prayers and best wishes from the UK

We are so very grateful that we had somewhere safe to be evacuated.
Many did not, and are now in awful circumstances. It is just horrendous.
