Tuesday 12th September
Two and a half years
Just so many tears
Loneliness and fears
Thirty months of grief
Utter disbelief
Your life, far too brief
Two years ago I posted this video to raise awareness of testicular cancer….
I love you so very much
I miss you every day
Precious Angel son

It must seem like only yesterday you lost him

Two and a half years seems like forever, and yet the memory is as clear as yesterday.
Every morning is the same now; I wake up knowing he’s not there. And that will never change.

I’m sure your effort of bringing the awareness of this type of cancer is not in vain. I’m glad to know that your flight is in the evening!

Thank you.
Testicular cancer is so often kept quiet; men feel uncomfortable talking about their most intimate body parts, unable to admit to a problem.

I can see that. We had a guy in our fellowship shared with the group that when he was under extreme anxiety, he found out he had no men to talk to. His wife had chronic illness, he had his own health problem but had to take care of his wife. Two years later, they both got better and he shared that men only socialize on shallow issues.
Your effort is appreciated!

When people tell you that it gets easier with the passing of the years, but it really doesn’t, not until they’d experienced the losses to the extent you had already, will they finally know how it feels…but, eventually, your hearts will be ready to let go of the losses, and you’ll be able to, wake up to a brand new day after a very restful night of sleep…..

Thank you for sharing the process of what your son went through, i know it must’ve been very difficult, reliving the moments of him getting sick, and thank you for trying to bring about awareness to these easily ignored symptoms.

It was a hard video to put together, but I felt I needed to do something.

I am so sorry, dear heart. I am in Florida with my parents (north FL) and also rode out the Hurricane. All the destruction and news videos have made my sorrowful heart even more sorrowful. All I can think about when I see them is how hard it is to live with grief and pain. Thank you for sharing your journey.

That is most kind of you to say so.
Thank you.
Frank took everything in his stride, he wasn’t one for complaining at all.
We do miss him terribly.
