Grief invades every part of life

Permeating through each crease

Once it has an unyielding hold

There’ll be not a moment of peace

Changing your complete being

A nudging pain that’ll not cease

Descending upon your shoulders

No instructions for a quick release

Adapting and learning to live with it

Hoping soon the hurt will decrease

.
