Wish you were here
My Angel, my dear
I think you’re near
To fill me with cheer
Walking down the pier
The sea’s crystal clear
Don’t disappear
As your wings do veer
Through clouds you steer
No need for fear
Our love’s sincere
.
Love you sweetheart
Darling Angel son

A wish we all understand

Melanie, did you write poetry for Frank, before he passed?
Did he ever write you any?

Hi Melinda.
When I was a young teenage girl I tried to write poems filled with angst and unrequited love…. as you do!
I have always loved reading poetry, but really only began myself, as I wrote on here, about Frank.
Somewhere I do still have all my schoolgirl poems…. maybe I’ll dig them out sometime, and cringe!
Frank loved nursery rhymes, nonsense poems, anything with a good sing-a-long rhythm.
Frank did write a few poems at school, and some letters to me, but that is all.
