Sunday 23rd September
.
Such a lonely and solitary walk
A terribly personal feeling
Emotions carefully camouflaged
With all this grief I’m dealing
.
No one talks of the heartache
Not bringing pain to the surface
Treading on fragile eggshells
Fearful of hurting on purpose
.
And so I’m left to talk with you here
Writing down thoughts and sentiments
Avoiding the unparralleled paralysis
Remembering all the precious moments
.
Love you sweetie

Hang in there. From one who lost a close love one like you, all we can do is continue to keep our memories of them alive, to cherish the precious moments that we had with them and to be able to continue to candidly express our feelings of loss and grief as we need to. Luv, Gary

Precious moments need to happen more frequently but far too often we do overlook and undervalue them. Fading memories in old age is an enemy.
