Sunday 25th August
.
Holding your hand
Just felt so grand
Toes in warm sand
Bodies quite tanned
In waves we stand
Yet gone, unplanned
Off to dreamland
.
Missing you poppet
Remembered with love
My darling Angel son
xxxxxx
Much cloudier today
Still warm for the beach goers
A young seagull on the lookout for an opportunistic ice cream or pasty
Outgoing tide in the harbour
Lovely pictures – like a painting by Monet.

Ah yes, “Toes in warm sand// Bodies quite tanned” I could relate to that quite well. We had a cabin in Felton, CA, near Santa Cruz and the BoardWalk. Spent many a day with toes in the sand – and my body got quite tanned. A walk down memory lane… thank you! ❤

Thank you so much for reading.
I too love walking along beaches, dipping toes into the ocean.

Thank you.
A very busy day at the beach, and in town…. Many holidaymakers enjoying their summer break.
