Love Wareham, we’ve kayaked the River Frome many times.

It really was very busy this afternoon; many kayaking, paddleboarding, in hired motor boats, on a riverboat trip (aboard the Orca 🐳), privately owned motorboats and a few swimming in the river.
Busy, but a pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by.

Lovely photos and memories for me as Wareham isn’t too far from my home town of Poole. I remember having a decent steak in The Old Granary for a reasonable price, and we even had a jigsaw puzzle of it (the Old Granary not the steak!!)

We do like visiting Wareham, where my mother-in-law lives.
The Old Granary was busy most days and evenings when we walked down to the quay. We were just happy, sitting with a beer, and people watching (also boat, ducks and swan watching!)
