That’s all we can ask

Standard

Tuesday 30th June

.

Misty and murky

With a touch of fog

Quiet at the moment

Some out with their dog

Walking empty streets

Lifeguards on the beach

Not many tourists

Stay safe, all beseech

Two metres apart

Perhaps wear a mask

Be responsible

That’s all we can ask

.

Thinking of you my sweetie

Treasured Angel son

An overgrown putting green

A very quiet Porthmeor Beach

Wildflowers growing on the cliff

High tide

Lifeguards with no customers to look after

Harbour slipway

A small yacht at anchor

All the self drive boats ready for tourists

Just checking in

Standard

Monday 29th June

.

Just checking in sweetheart

Letting you know I care

Sharing my day with you

Taking you everywhere

.

Driving around Feock

The Gardens at Trelissick

To the King Harry Ferry

Moving slowly, not quick

.

Meandering roads and lanes

You’d be asleep in the back

Happy when we arrived

Time for a drink and snack

.

Sending you lots of kisses

And so much love too

Dearest, darling Angel son

Miss you so much, I do

.

A bright day for a drive

Windy roads

Trees in full leaf

Towering above

On the way to Trelissick Gardens

19th Century converted water tower that’s now a Rapunzel-esque holiday cottage.

The road down to the ferry

Wind farm turbines above the hedgerows

A morning cream tea

Standard

Wednesday 24th June

.

A morning cream tea

With lovely mummy

So warm and sunny

Shaded canopy

Beneath a palm tree

.

Quiet and carefree

Dementia, you see

Own reality

Looked after safely

Carers so lovely

.

(You would have loved the scones

Piled high with clotted cream

Spoonfuls of strawberry jam

Delicious, an absolute dream)

.

Love you sweetheart

Beloved Angel son
