Bubbles in the foam

Standard
Friday 10th September

Bubbles in the foam
Of beach kissed waves
Sunbeams filtering through
Seaweed covered caves

White horses on crests
Of emerald green swell
Tide chasing forwards
Covering each pink shell

Albeit grey skies
A fresh, salty air
Blows in from the deep
Cloaking everywhere

Love you so much
My precious sons

Only a few surf school students on West Porthmeor Beach
Grey skies overhead
Along the Wharf
Low tide in the harbour
A humid breeze blows gently
Smeaton’s Pier

Warm September mist

Standard
Wednesday 8th September

Rolling across the sea
The warm September mist
This veil clings to the tide
Where waves just don't exist

Love you both
Darling sons

Lifeguards still on duty
Little swell for the surf school
Misty low tide in the harbour
Heavy, grey skies
Colourful flower boxes
Still many holidaymakers about
The incoming tide fills the harbour quickly

That time again

Standard
Tuesday 7th September

It's that time again
Dermatology
Complete body check
Any moles, dodgy?

All is good today
A big sigh from me
Back in six months time
'Til then, quite happy

Love you both
Treasured sons

Walk with me

Standard
Sunday 5th September

Walk with me
For a while
Hear my heart
Mile after mile
Tread this path
Over the stile
Feel the aches
Look for the smile
For it's there
Borne with style

Love both of you
Beloved sons

Tour of Britain thunders through St Ives
Stage 1, Penzance to Bodmin. 111 miles
Mark Cavendish was there, somewhere
Such speed amongst the cheering and police sirens

Whatever happens

Standard
Saturday 4th September

Whatever happens
Everything else can wait
Whatever happens
I'll put it down to fate
Whatever happens
Memories we'll relate
Whatever happens
You're my perfect soulmate
Whatever happens
Our love, we'll celebrate

Love you both so much
Beloved sons

Be so still

Standard
Friday 3rd September

Be so still
Listen to
The sunshine
In the blue
Sky above
Grass blade's dew
Diamond bright
Sparkling through
Taste the breeze
Blown on you
Warm embrace
Love so true
Quietly stand
Peaceful view

Love you both
Darling sons
