My mum will be going to another care home close by, (along with most of the residents and staff).
It will be a bit of an upheaval, but the staff have assured us they will do everything they can to make the transition as smooth as possible, even down to putting up the paintings and photos from one room to the new room, so she can be comforted by similar surroundings.
She has vascular dementia, and doesn’t really know what is going on, (probably a good thing).

You’re so welcome! Oh I’m happy to hear they are trying to make the transition easier but it’s tough when they are in that state which can create more confusion. oh it’s such a challenging time for sure. I hope it goes as smoothly as possible. 💖🌻
