Panic attacks

Standard
Friday 16th December

Panic attacks
Emotions to max
Just can't relax
The mirror cracks

Total collapse
The pain, it smacks
Tearstains wet tracks
Calm down, perhaps

Watch time elapse
A parallax
Can't change the facts
Hard falls the axe

Love you so much
Treasured sons
Beloved Mum
xxxxx
Calm and cold this morning

  1. It’s difficult to realize how much we depend on someone simply being there until they aren’t. It isn’t about being dependent; it’s about simply knowing they’re a visit away, a phone call away. They’ve stepped through the veil into a new room and left us behind. Knowing we’ll be together again, someday, doesn’t change the missing them in this moment.
