Three thousand days without you near
A pain that cuts so deep, I fear
You were a son, a light so bright
A laughter, joy and pure delight
A precious gift, a ray of sun
But then, too soon, your life was done
Though you're gone, and can't be here
Your love and spirit seem crystal clear 
For in my heart, you'll always be
My son, my love, everything to me 
I'll remember you with every smile
