"Why can't I?" you ask
With a hopeful plea
You try and you try
But the answers aren't free
You know, deep inside
You've got strength to find
So chase your dreams
Leave your doubts behind
Love you so much
Treasured sons
Beloved Mum

Thank you so much Derrick; that was taken out of the side window as we were travelling home, early in the morning.

I think it interesting that you say 72 miles away from home,–that you give the distance in miles and not kilometers. 🙂 Gorgeous pictures. Thank you.

In the UK we use miles on the road signposts, and most car’s speedometers are in miles per hour.
Speed limit signs are also in mph.
And yet fuel is sold by litres, but cars still give an indication of fuel economy in miles per gallon.
I weigh myself in stones and pounds, and yet supermarket produce is sold in grams and kilograms.
Topsy turvy 😃🙃😃

very topsy turvy:) or just very multi-national. Anyway–interesting. 🙂 We often drive thru Canada–which uses the metric system, so I am always calculating in my head back to miles. 🙂 I thought Canada mostly took its clues from Great Britain, so hence my surprise at your use of miles. 🙂
