Thursday 2nd November
In the depths of night
A tempestuous fight
Winds howled with fury
A relentless might
Noise and chaos
As we took a battering
Seas clashed with cliffs
In a tumultuous gathering
Debris' been scattered
Like fragments of dreams
In the heart of the tempest
Nature's power screams
Love you so much
Treasured sons
Beloved Mum

Thank you very much indeed.
It really was a stormy, noisy night with rain and hail hitting the front of the house.
There are many trees down, houses with blown out windows, and missing roof tiles, debris everywhere, and loss of power.
It’s fairly quiet at the moment, but I think the wind picks up again over the weekend.
It’s Cornwall, it’s autumn!!
Take good care and stay safe yourself.
