The architecture rises 
Ancient and new 
A dance of old stones 
In a sky quite blue 

Good food awaits 
Rich flavours abound 
With cold beers in hand 
The world spins round 

In the warmth of the day 
We lose track of time 
As the sun dips low 
Church bells do chime

Off to Spain for the day  
A brief escape 
Where life's simple pleasures 
Easily take their shape
