September sunshine

Standard
Wednesday 18th September

Softly it spills
The September light
Golden beams through trees
Sparkling and bright
Warm, but gentle
A lingering touch
A summer farewell
Not asking much

The air is crisp
Yet some warmth stays
In sunlit moments
In softened rays
Shadows grow longer
But skies are clear
September sunshine
So welcome, so near

A time between
Of change, of grace
As autumn hints
Blushing summer's face
Lingering still
In glowing skies
September sunshine
Where magic lies

Love you so much
