How much we cared

Standard
Tuesday 14th February

The pain of loss, so raw and real
A wound that time cannot fully heal
But on this cloudless, blue sky day
I'll let sorrow go, find a peaceful way

In the beauty of nature's gifts
I see reflections that love uplifts
A breeze whispering a comforting tune
The sun that warms like a loving cocoon

In these moments, I feel a presence near
A reminder that their spirit is always here
So I hold onto the times that we shared
Showing the world how much we cared

Love you so much

A lovely blue sky day

A sunny day

Standard
Sunday 12th February

A sunny day is here again
Bringing hope, chasing out the rain
The clouds have passed, the sky is clear
A new beginning, a time to cheer

I'll take a step and feel the light
And know that everything'll be right
I'll hold on tight and never let go
For hope is the seed that helps us grow

And as the days get brighter still
Remember that hope will always fill
Your heart and soul, and carry you
Towards a brighter, happier view

Love you so much

Memories linger

Standard
Saturday 11th February

Memories linger
On and on
Like you're still here
Even though you've gone

The laughter we shared
The tears we cried
The moments we lived
Always side by side

I miss your smile
Your gentle touch
The way you used to
Love me so much

So I'll hold onto
Those memories tight
And hope that someday
It'll be alright

And consequently
Miss you every day
Holding on to the love
Shared in every way

Love you so much

There are things

Standard
Friday 10th February

There are things
That I have buried
Hidden away deep
Still, they're carried
Stored in my mind
Intensely harried
Needing the courage
To stop being worried

Love you so much

It’s okay

Standard
Thursday 9th February

It's okay
If I don't do it today

It's all right
If I can't see the light

It's fine
If it isn't mine

I won't feel bad
If things make me sad

Maybe not right now
Not knowing how

But one day soon
A better path will be hewn

The hope is there
I know I'll find it somewhere

Love you so much

Writing down

Standard
Wednesday 8th February

Writing down
So as not to forget
Nothing left
To overcome or regret

Accepting that
They'll always be missed
Meant so much
Certainly did exist

Continued grief
Filled with so much love
Made our lives
Special like stars above

Love you so much

Sometimes

Standard
Monday 6th February

Sometimes a little fantasy
Makes reality more bearable
Wiping away pain and fears
Being broken can be repairable

Stretching fingers

Standard
Sunday 5th February

Stretching fingers
Across the road
Leafless branches
As sunshine flowed
A tangled chaos
The chill wind blowed
Through gnarly twigs
A criss-cross code

Love you so much

St Ives this morning
Driving out this afternoon
In my car… a 29 year old Nissan Micra 😘
It’s due its MoT tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
So this was a little test drive
It hasn’t been out of the garage since last year’s Mot 🤣
But it started first time, and drove beautifully
Just needed a little air in the tyres
So, we’re all set for tomorrow
