Cerulean skies

Standard
Monday 17th April

Cerulean skies
How they gleam
Warm sunshine
A blissful dream
Relaxing times
So calm and still
Deep breathes
Quite tranquil

Welcome sighs
As worries fade
Gentle moments
In the shade
Nature's beauty
All around
Joyful hearts
With peace profound

Love you so much

Holiday

Standard
Sunday 16th April

The time has come to take a break
Leaving behind the daily grind
Heading towards a sunny place
Where peace and calm are what we'll find

We're off on holiday, at last
To bask in warmth and soak up rays
Blue skies above and sands so vast
We'll spend our time in leisurely ways

Love you so much

Falling apart

Standard
Thursday 13th April

Son in heaven, tranquility provides
A place where love and peace collides
Heart aches with my memories of you
Keeping them alive, that's what I'll do

Missing you more than words can say
Cherishing you each and every day
Holding you close within my heart
Keeping those memories from falling apart

Love you so much

Skin check time

Standard
Tuesday 11th April

Skin check time, appointment set
Dermatology, I can't forget
The anxious feeling starts to rise
As I prepare for the doctor's eyes

I know it's important to be checked
To remove anything that's suspect
But still my nerves begin to fray
As we drive to the clinic today

Finally, it's my turn to go in
And then the scrutiny does begin
Examining my skin from head to toe
Then saying 'all's good, don't you know'

Relief washes over me like a wave
Knowing my skin's fine, my health to save
Skin check time, appointment done
My anxiety fades, and I can move on

Love you so much
Treasured sons

Permanence

Standard
Saturday 8th April

The permanence of child loss
A wound that never truly heals
A constant ache, a heavy cost
That every parent feels

Memories of what could have been
Haunt us every single day
Dreams we had, now left unseen
As we try to find our way

Love you so much
Precious sons
Beloved Mum
