A polypectomy 
Polyps, there are three 
Consultant came to see 
Because of difficulty 
Then in recovery 
With a cup of tea 
Will wait for histology

At last, after eleven days of feeling poorly 
No longer positive, finally over it, surely 

I'm negative, and that's a positive you see 
Too long feeling weary, slowly back to being me 

Tired and drained, with no appetite in sight 
Now on the right track, and it feels so bright 

I value my wellbeing, it's the greatest wealth 
Onwards and upwards, in pursuit of better health
