Another warm one today

Standard
Monday 11th July

Another warm one today
With yachts anchored in the bay
Beaches packed, children at play
In the sea, splashing away

Love you both so much
Treasured sons

Looking over the rooftops to the Chapel on the Island
A warm morning
One couple playing on the putting green
Busy again on Porthmeor Beach
Even hotter today
The harbour was quite crowded too
A couple of yachts on outside moorings
A new arrival on the high tide: a bilge keel yacht makes use of a visitor’s mooring buoy
More cloud than yesterday, but many holidaymakers enjoying the wharf
The slipway looks very busy indeed

Just slowly meandering

Standard
Sunday 10th July

Just slowly meandering
Taking photos, capturing
Pleasure boats, anchoring
Paddleboarders, mastering
Many families gathering
For cold drinks, clamouring
As children, jabbering
Queues for ice-cream, badgering
And sunscreen, slathering

Love you both so much
Beloved sons

No one is using the putting green
Find your space on the beach!
Busy, busy, busy
Tents and windbreaks
High tide, with little beach space remaining
Kitty’s Corner
Harbour slipway

Sailing across the sea

Standard
Saturday 9th July

Sailing across the sea
No better place to be
I'm sure you might agree
Wonderfully carefree
Crowds watching from the quay
Winds might be blustery
Sails free and easy
Billowing gracefully

Love you both so much
Precious sons

Bright and sunny this morning
Many types of watercraft
An ebbing tide
Saturday regatta
Busy today
Much more peaceful
The race is on
A few spectators watching from the new pier
So very clear
Porthmeor Beach
West Porthmeor and Man’s Head
Blue hues

Calm thoughts

Standard
Friday 8th July

Calm thoughts
Deep breaths
Slow down
Worry less
Shake off
Guilt and stress
For a while
Acquiesce
Undo that
Tangled mess
Difficult
But decompress
Adjust your crown
A fine headdress

Love you both so much
Precious sons

Harbour deckchairs lined up on the Wharf
A sunny morning
Busy Porthmeor Beach
Warm and muggy today
Beach vibes
A small swell to enjoy being in the sea
Holiday heaven for some
Paddling in the harbour

Sometimes

Standard
Thursday 7th July

Sometimes
Past times
Lifetimes
Hard times

New days
Always
Amaze
Star gaze

Tightrope
Upslope
Have hope
Can cope

Love you both so much

Wispy clouds over Porthmeor Beach
Lots of windbreaks and tents
West Porthmeor and Man’s Head
A fairly low tide today
The bilge keeler still in the harbour
Playing in the sand
Enjoying life on the bow!
