Pink roses bloom

Standard
Wednesday 7th June

Pink roses bloom
Warm blushes on cheek
Petals quite delicate
Tender and sleek
Each bloom demonstrates
The language love speaks
A fragrant symphony
Far as the eye seeks

Love you so much
Treasured sons
Beloved Mum

Endless pink petals
An abundance of blooms
Pretty in pink
Buds in waiting
The Parish Church towers above the harbour

    • Thank you so much.
We took a cutting from our next door neighbour’s rose bush about thirty years ago, and they have bloomed and blossomed all over our garden. When pruning, my husband just sticks the cut twig in the earth, and it grows so easily.
Forever known as Aunt Lil’s roses, such a sweet old lady who lived next door.
