In the world of shadows 
Where darkness reigns 
Lies a drab colour 
That forever stains 
A hue of sorrow 
Of forgotten dreams 
A shade of melancholy 
Or so it seems 

Yet the grey of dawn 
Right before the sun 
When night is over 
And day's just begun 
There lies a moment 
Of stillness and peace 
A time when all sadness 
Simply seems to cease 

Love you so much 
Precious sons 
Treasured Mum

Same old, same old….!
Grey, drizzly, grotty and dreary
