Another beach day 
Blue skies overhead 
Refreshing ocean swim 
Over the sand we tread

Leaving Tavira town this morning
Bound for Ilha de Tavira
A twenty minute boat ride
Pretty shells
Our shady spot on the sun loungers
It was a little breezy
Lunchtime beach bar
A cool place
Gary with lots of comings and goings behind him
After lunch lie down
And then a swim
The water’s lovely
A catamaran moving up the coast

A trip on a ferry 
Reaching the Atlantic side 
To Ilha de Tavira 
The beach stretches far and wide 
Beneath a shady canopy 
Watching the incoming tide

Down to the water

It’s not too bad
When you hire a beach canopy, no one is allowed to put their umbrellas in front of you!
To the left and right, are many parasols and umbrellas
The beach is busy
But quieter where we are
Sunbeds filling up

Before it became too hot 
Up and down the battlements

Across the waterway 
On the little tourist train 
Over to Barril Beach 
And into the sea again!
