Today was all about food Making for such a good mood Simply a perfect day To Bath on a Saturday
Wandering around and shopping Every now and again stopping A superb lunchtime tea Beneath a huge plane tree
Bathampton Mill upon Avon Most of the tables were taken But we needn't have worried There's no need to be hurried
Ice cold beer in the sun Watching the water run Over the weir down stream Spiralling eddies gleam
All the while thinking of you And everything you'd do My dear sweet Angel son Now you're forever young

Thank you very much indeed.
It really was great to leave home for a few days and enjoy restaurants, cafés, bars and the gorgeous outdoors. (The food really was superb 😊)

Lovely photos. I lived in a small village about 8 miles out and worked in Bath just beyond Pulteney Bridge for 7 years.
A lot has changed since I left in 1989, but the Abbey remains awesome
Bath is a beautiful city. I visited about 20 years ago as one of the chaperones for my son’s men & boys choir which attended a choir school at Bath Abbey. They all loved the time there. Thanks for bringing back great memories.
Thank you so much for stopping by and for coming along.
We love Bath too, and always seem to discover a new square, or walkway, or a different café tucked away.
There is so much history around every corner.

We do love coming to Bath, especially when the weather is so good. The Abbey is such an imposing architectural building ~ the heart of the city.
