Finally we're home
Country roads to roam

  1. There’s no place like home. 🙂 I like the picture of the “nearly there trees”! I like the picture for itself–a crop of trees on a hill–so pretty–but to look at them and know you are nearly home–that adds even more significance to the picture!! 🙂

    • Thank you so much.
These trees, at Cookworthy Knapp, Devon, almost have iconic status for travellers into Cornwall.
They stand proud on a little hill, and signify that you haven’t much further to go until you reach home.
Paintings, photographs, artwork, and their own Facebook page, no less, make them very well known to those coming on holiday!

  2. Oh, I’m so glad you told me more about this picture. I went on line and looked up the famous trees, and it had some very romantic stories for how they came to be there–in the shape of a heart no less–from an aerial view. I hope seeing them brings hope and peace and joy to you. I think of you, and pray for you for those things.
