Memories linger 
On and on
Like you're still here 
Even though you've gone

The laughter we shared
The tears we cried
The moments we lived
Always side by side

I miss your smile
Your gentle touch
The way you used to
Love me so much

So I'll hold onto
Those memories tight
And hope that someday
It'll be alright

And consequently 
Miss you every day
Holding on to the love
Shared in every way
