Perfect ice cream delights Outdoors in the sunshine A leafy, shady spot The weather's truly fine
Under the trees' green veil Where whispers float on by In this peaceful haven Sweet moments beneath the sky
Love you so much Treasured sons Beloved Mum xxxxx
St Ives this morning Beside Nance Lakes for an ice creamGary (has had surgery on his forehead to remove an SCC; recovery going well) Stay shady! A leafy tunnel of trees
Red and yellow boats Bobbing in the bay In the tranquil harbour Where they gently sway
Such a pretty picture In this vibrant place Bringing a smile To each and every face
Pause and admire This colourful sight The red and yellow boats Bring joy and delight
In this serene moment Let worries fade away Basking in the beauty On this peaceful day
Love you so much Precious sons Beloved Mum xxxxx
St Ives this morning Man’s Head this afternoon Porthmeor Beach and the Island The slipway in the harbour Calm seas The red and yellow boats Looking towards the Wharf
Through corridors of time We silently roam In the assorted memories Where hearts find home Though those days are gone They forever remain In the gentle whispers Where love does sustain
Landing early this morning In dense fog and pouring rain Quite a shock to the system Need to go on holiday again! A slow drive home in traffic Safely back, shouldn't complain Now to unpack, sort things out And tidiness to maintain
Love you so much Treasured sons Beloved Mum xxxxx
Saying goodbye to Luke and Talita yesterday Our plane, over an hour delayed The Algarve looking sparkly It was touch and go whether we would land or be diverted elsewhere. So very foggy. Our drive home soon was brightened by blue skies The “Nearly There Trees” The A30….. But it did come to a standstill later
