Above thirty degrees 
A relentless sky 

Trying to find shade 
In the midday glow 
Beneath leafy trees 
Where cool breezes flow 

The streets shimmer bright 
Like a dance on the sea 
As laughter rings out 
Blending joy in the heat   

A quiet escape 
Where branches entwine   
In that tranquil embrace 
The day feels divine  

With each passing moment 
The shadows will grow
