Bath

Standard
Saturday 29th May

Today was all about food
Making for such a good mood
Simply a perfect day
To Bath on a Saturday

Wandering around and shopping
Every now and again stopping
A superb lunchtime tea
Beneath a huge plane tree

Bathampton Mill upon Avon
Most of the tables were taken
But we needn't have worried
There's no need to be hurried

Ice cold beer in the sun
Watching the water run
Over the weir down stream
Spiralling eddies gleam

All the while thinking of you
And everything you'd do
My dear sweet Angel son
Now you're forever young

Lunchtime tea with carrot cake
The amazing London Plane Tree
Sitting in the shade
Still quite warm

The Bathampton Mill
And the weir
A steady flow of water
Ice cold beer
My nourish bowl

My PornStar Martini Eton Mess pudding!
A lovely day

Sunshine today

Standard
Saturday 22nd May
.
Back to sunshine today
After all the rain and gales
A gentle springtime breeze
Filling the pretty sails

Perfect azure blue sky
Tourists eating ice creams
Wishing that they lived here
Fulfilling childhood dreams

Bucket and spade holidays
Full of fun and laughter
Sandcastles and boat trips
Good times, much sought after
.
Thinking of you poppet
Treasured Angel son

A gorgeous tree in Trewyn Gardens
Porthmeor Beach much busier today
A good swell
Fun in the waves
Sailing from the harbour
Sailing towards the slipway
Lots of holidaymakers sitting on the wall
Beautiful colours
Beneath white fluffy clouds
Busy in Kitty’s Corner

Grey, sulky clouds

Standard
Friday 21st May
.
Grey, sulky clouds
Envelope black headlands
Slimy, green algae
Covered with gritty sands

Stinging, cold rain
Relentlessly thrashes
Pinched, pink cheeks
As thunder crashes

Blustery, gales
Keep blowing hoods off
Whipping up a swell
Spraying crest to trough

Love you sweetheart
Precious Angel son

Porthmeor Beach
There was one lone surfer out there…
Despite the beach being ‘red flagged’
Always on the look out…
