And there you are

Standard

Monday 24th August

.

And there you are

Showing up

Between the silence

Of my thoughts

.

An image of you

Breaking through

The calmness

Of my psyche

.

To make me smile

To make me cry

And I wouldn’t have

It any other way

.

Love you sweetheart

My darling Angel son

Another cloudy day

Still enjoying the waves

Maybe fewer on the beach today

You’re always there

Standard

Saturday 22nd August

.

You’re always there

Soaring in the air

Flying somewhere

.

I’m acutely aware

That life’s unfair

No time to prepare

.

But our love we share

Know that I care

My sweet teddy bear

.

Beloved Angel son

Fluffy cirrus clouds

Wispy strands

Porthmeor Beach at low tide

Enjoying the surf

Enclosures seem necessary for social distancing

The surf school is doing a roaring trade

Looking towards the Island

A sunnier harbour today

Wide angle blue skies and big clouds

Pain starts creaking

Standard

Friday 21st August

.

Pain starts creaking

Into the cracks

When you try to pretend

It’s OK to relax

.

Love you poppet

Beloved Angel son

Down Porthmeor Hill to the beach

A few groups at West Porthmeor

Many folks having fun in the sea

Watched over by the RNLI

Dark clouds, but warm

Two visiting yachts finding safety in the harbour

Very low tides at the moment

A drive out to Gweek

Standard

Sunday 16th August

.

A drive out to Gweek

Avoiding home crowds

In the countryside

Beneath the grey clouds

.

Watching the wildlife

Along the wooded trail

Skimming dragonflies

Fresh air to inhale

.

Swallows, fish and ducks

Small bridges to cross

Bullrushes, bamboo

Boulders with green moss

.

A different day out

In the summertime

Didn’t meet a soul

Perfectly sublime

.

Thinking of you sweetie

My darling Angel son
