We have had windy and rainy weather, but nothing like the awful flooding that’s hitting other parts of the country.

It really is quite dreadful and sad to see the destruction to peoples’ homes.

I hope the government steps up to compensate them. I know insurance often falls short.

Yes, I think that must happen too. Many places are not now insured, having been flooded more than once, the premiums are outrageously steep.
Such a sad state of affairs.
