Monday 4th January
.
A late morning walk
Across Gwithian sands
It’s where we would go
Holding each others’ hands
Climbing up on the rocks
You’re ruler of the lands
Breathing in deeply
As each lung expands
The air clear and bright
A few cloudy, white strands
The bluest of blue skies
Where our soul understands
We are with each other
Just like our love commands
.
Love you forever sweetheart
My darling Angel son

An old engine house; evidence of tin mining in this area
The Red River (looking quite blue today) flowing fast towards the sea
The brick built tower of an old tin mine
The Red River again
Godrevy Lighthouse
Built 1858 – 1859, marking the dangerous Stones Reef
Looking across the bay towards St Ives
Beautiful images.

I note the cold change by the clouds and clothing, as usual, the water is darker, signs of winter.

Brrrr, it has turned quite chilly; only a little above freezing, with ice on the car windscreen in the morning.
But brisk walks are good for the soul π
