Today
I just miss you.
That’s all.

Plain and simple.
It’s one of those days.
I can’t stop thinking about you.

You’re gone.
You’re not here.
You didn’t make it.

And I’m sad.
There are tears.
And I can’t help it.

Around and about
Everything carries on
As normal.

No one knows
What’s going on
Inside my head.

My heart aches,
But it’s there
That I hold you.
