The cat appears every couple of months….. no collar, but always looks clean and well fed. He makes a bee-line for us, and enjoys petting.

He wants to go home with you eventually. I see a woman who walks her dogs in the neighborhood and she mentioned having a cat at home, as well as being “part owner of the neighborhood cat” … apparently this orange-colored cat takes turns eating and sleeping at various neighbor’s homes, but doesn’t want to be their permanent pet. 🙂

Yes, that is a problem if you go away as you hate to board them and they don’t like it either. Best to be a free spirit for now. 🙂

It’s something amazing, that you’re remembering your son this way, and we all have to keep reminding ourselves, that the time we had shared with those we loved dearly was what’s most important, and that will, hopefully, help us through the losses of our beloved, making the days pass easier.
