Dawn of the new millennium
Twenty years ago today
We drove to Cocoa Beach
Awaiting the rising sun’s ray
.
Today we repeated that trip
But certainly not so early
The sun had spread its warmth
As we completed the journey
.
Thinking of when you were with us
