Monthly Archives: June 2020

Along the quiet, white sands

Standard

Tuesday 16th June

.

Along the quiet, white sands

Remains of many footsteps

Those souls that wander slowly

Blithely leaving no regrets

.

Wishing you could still meander

Across the changing foreshore

Smiling within your own world

So much ahead to explore

.

Gazing towards the horizon

Just where the sky meets the sea

A misty, merging peacefulness

That’s where you roam eternally

.

And I miss you so

Dearest Angel son

A very quiet Porthmeor Beach

The lifeguard watching over an empty sea

Clouds breaking after heavy rains

Greens and blues

Standard

Monday 15th June

.

See the colours of greens and blues

Exquisite aquamarine hues

A heavy, dark, foreboding sky

But mostly today, remaining dry

.

Thinking of you

Beloved Angel son

Looking along Lambeth Walk towards Pedn Olva

Dark and moody

Very still at Porthmeor Beach

Very few waves

Walking along the water’s edge

A little welcome brightness

Standard

Saturday 13th June

.

A little welcome brightness

After the steely, grey rain

This is more like pleasant June

I hope the warmth will sustain

.

Thinking of you

My precious little one

Love you forever

Now forever young

.

Precious Angel son

Rosebud after the rain

Our fuchsia

And abundant pink roses

Quite blustery this afternoon

The RNLI lifeguards start patrolling the beaches today

A few in the sea

Swim between the red and yellow flags

The harbour slipway

Another new day

Standard

Thursday 11th June

.

Another new day

But the love’s the same

Another tomorrow

I’ll still speak your name

Into the future

Your life I’ll explain

Whilst in the past

All that you overcame

Remembering all

As the angel you became

.

Love you poppet

Precious Angel son

Fast moving clouds over the town this morning

Driving on narrow roads again

Hedgerows and trees; an abundance of green

We hardly met any other vehicles
