Thursday 13th August
.
I loved you before
More….
I loved you there
Where….
I loved you then
When….
I love you here
Near….
I love you now
How…
I love you forever
Together….
I’ll love you anywhere
Everywhere….
.
Thinking of you

Wednesday 12th August
.
Sitting quietly
Shutting out the world
Remembering
How things unfurled
.
And I miss you so
Dearest Angel son

It’s not sunny in St Ives!! Misty and only 18°C here

An outdoor cinema being set up….. Gorillas in the mist? The Fog?

We’re on holiday, we’ll go to the beach 🏖️

But not as crowded as it has been

Low tide in the harbour

Tuesday 11th August
.
I’ll never let go of my grief
For it’s all that I have left
Connecting me closely
With my Angel, so blessed
Your life ended suddenly
Leaving us completely bereft
.
Beloved Angel son

Monday 10th August
.
Can you grieve and smile
Can you laugh awhile?
Is there happiness
Amongst this sadness?
.
All those memories
Broken heart remedies
That you did exist
You’re still in our midst
.
And I love you so
Missing you I know
We’ll be together
For ever and ever
.
Precious Angel son

Blue skies over the town this morning

Sunday 9th August
.
Yesterday to Exeter
To endoscopy
For a colonoscopy
And polypectomy
.
Three little growths
Snared
Cauterised
Sent to pathology
.
Most uncomfortable
Pain temporary
But necessary
Precautionary
.
So there we are…..
.
Thinking of you as always
My darling Angel son

Next door’s overgrown garden

Over the rooftops towards Godrevy Lighthouse

.
Saturday 8th August
.
We climbed a mountain
Five years ago today
Raising awareness
Along Llanberis way
.
Keep on, keeping on
That’s what you would say
But Testicular Cancer
Stole your life away
.
Conquering Mount Snowdon
On that sunny Summer’s day
And remembering Frank
With so much love to convey
.
Thirty years went too soon
Really wished you could stay
But now my dearest darling
Heaven’s where you lay
.
Love you forever
Forget you never
Always together
For ever and ever
.

Friday 7th August
.
Busy, busy, busy
Bodies on the beach
‘Benidorm on steroids’
The newspapers screech
.
Thinking of you sweetie
Beloved Angel son

Low tide in the harbour

Quite pleasant really

Looking across the harbour towards Porthminster Beach

Porthmeor is very crowded

Too busy for us

Better down by the sea

Thursday 6th August
.
I will always keep writing
You deserve to be remembered
My dearest, darling Angel son
There’s so much to be treasured
.
Love you sweetheart

Grey and mizzly today

Wednesday 5th August
.
Mum’s birthday today
Eighty eight years young
A care home garden tea
Where happy birthday was sung
.
Then off to Plymouth for me
A covid test to be done
Hospital on Saturday
Colonoscopy; what fun!
.
Thinking of you sweetie
Beloved Angel son
