Ten years

How can that be?

A decade

Gone so quickly

Missing our fun and adventures

Remembering you too, Frank

Darling Angel son

Porthmeor Beach

A little sunshine this afternoon was most welcome

A few surfers in the waves near the Island

A group of surf school students

Walking in the rain

Standard

Tuesday 3rd October

.

Out walking in the rain

Around the town and back again

Wet pavements, puddles in the road

Hood pulled down, shoulders bowed

A gentle mist covers my face

Like a soft, angelic embrace

.

Love you sweetie

Beloved Angel son

Heavy mist covering the Island

A damp Porthmeor Beach this afternoon

Another day

Standard

Wednesday 2nd October

And so passes another day

You’re not here for me to say

My love for you won’t fade away

In my heart, that’s where you’ll stay

My precious Angel son

A busy harbour front this morning. A German film crew were shooting scenes for part of a Rosamunde Pilcher film

Still very low tides at the moment

Day two

Standard

Monday 30th September

.

Day two without my phone

Just this older one on loan

Cannot find my calendar

That’s going to be a challenger

Remembering appointments

Not turning to disappointments

And no camera for your flowers

Getting drenched in heavy showers

I’m sending lots of love to you

Hugs and kisses, cuddles too

My darling Angel son

Now forever young

Watching the surf

In the pouring rain

Being knocked down

Standing up again

Blown by the wind

Over coming the pain

To stay in control

Of this watery domain

.

Thinking of you always

My darling Angel son

Porthmeor Beach this afternoon

Many surfers taking advantage of the waves

Bodyboarders too, enjoying the swell

Barrelling fun

Hanging ten

I really, really don’t know what we were doing here, or why I’m pretending to strangle Frank!

I think Frank was pretending to be a mermaid ~ we were at Typhoon Lagoon water park in Orlando.

Coming across these photos made me smile for a few moments.

As the days pass

As the days pass

Not much changes

But everything has

It just rearranges

Thinking of you constantly

My darling Angel son

Flying high above the clouds

Now forever young

Another windy day

A good swell blowing at Porthmeor Beach

A brief glimpse of blue sky

Only a few surfers today

Red flags at West end

But no one is swimming at the Island end

Man’s Head in the distance

Very dark clouds on the horizon
