Precious

Standard

Wednesday 6th November

.

Life is precious

So live it well

You never know

You cannot tell

What lies beyond

But love does dwell

In hearts and minds

Memories can’t quell

.

Missing you like crazy

Thinking of you daily

My darling Angel baby

Leaving Wareham this morning

The River Frome

Holmebridge

Flooded fields upstream

Fast flowing today

Swans

Standard

Tuesday 5th November

.

We walked down to the river

In the drizzly rain last night

A regal family of swans

Swam over in the moonlight

.

You would have loved to feed them

Throwing out crumbs of stale bread

Then laughing at their misfortune

When chunks bomped on their head

.

You brought such laughter

And much gentle fun

We couldn’t help but smile

Darling loved one

.

Remembering you with love

River Frome at Wareham

A family of swans come towards us

Ducks on the river bank too

An appearance of the moon

Leaving St Ives this morning

In the hospital grounds

Lovely blue sky and golden leaves

On the way to Dorset

Near Honiton

A tunnel of autumn trees

Quiet on the roads

Walking through the woods

Standard

Thursday 31st October

.

Walking through the woods

Beside a babbling stream

A carpet of wet leaves

A rich green colour scheme

.

Thinking of you my darling

Precious Angel son

Beautiful old trees

A tangle of branches and ferns

No trunk, just splaying out from the ground

Red berries; could be Black Byrony

A makeshift bridge over the stream

Flowing down towards Gweek

Rich autumnal colours

Mossy covered limbs

A water logged tree

Very few leaves left on the branches

Creepers and ivy, growing upwards and downwards

A tumbling waterfall

High five

Standard

Wednesday 30th October

.

Keeping your memory alive

So that your soul can survive

You lived life in overdrive

Sending a virtual high five

.

Remembering you with love

My Angel in heaven above

Sweet darling son

Forever young

Breezy Mount’s Bay

Wind and kite surfers

Harnessing the power

Zipping across the waves

Windy and cold at Porthmeor

Quite a few braving the waves

Choppy in the harbour

Brent goose in the harbour… A change from all the seagulls

A strong swell hits Lambeth Walk
