So much time since you flew away

How I wish we had one more day

I talk to you, but you’re not there

I smile at something, but you’re nowhere

I listen to you, but there’s no sound

I’m part of you, but you’re not around

I hold you tight, but not in my arms

You’re in my heart, safe from all harms
