Hot coffee and brownies
Watching the sparkling sea
Simply taking time out
To slowly breathe deeply

Sheltered from the cool wind
Warm sun on your forehead
Chance to think of times past
With so much left unsaid
.

Reminders of my first honeymoon at St Just 1n 1968

My first teaching appointment, when we returned to St. Ives, was at Cape Cornwall School, in St. Just.
Such a lovely drive each morning.
(In 1968 we were in Singapore 😊).
