Sunday 20th October
.
A drive to the south coast
Sitting on the sea wall
Overlooking Mount’s Bay
Dogs chasing a beach ball
.
Hot coffee and brownies
Watching the sparkling sea
Simply taking time out
To slowly breathe deeply
.
Sheltered from the cool wind
Warm sun on your forehead
Chance to think of times past
With so much left unsaid
.
Missing you sweetie
Darling Angel son

Mount’s Bay

St. Michael’s Mount

A pretty autumn afternoon

Looking towards Penzance and Newlyn

The castle on the Mount

Clouds beginning to gather overhead

Saturday 12th October

An old Cornish engine house, used for tin mining. Robinson’s Shaft
Inside the Red River Cafe this morning
Out for dinner…. Sister had squid
I had oysters
Gary had scallops, with macaroni cheese, bacon jam and truffle sauce
A long, low, threatening cloud seen from the restaurant looking over the harbour
My main course; steamed plaice with crab, prawn, asparagus and hollandaise sauce
The other two had sirloin steak, bearnaise sauce, wild mushrooms, truffle hash browns and watercress
Beach coladas 😘
