Loved and missed

Standard

Friday 8th March

.

Loved and missed

Hugged and kissed

Gone from our midst

But you did exist

.

Never forget

Though my tears are wet

Nothing to regret

Your golden sunset

.

Love you my darling

Your star is sparkling

Your heart I’m guarding

With mem’ries smiling

.

Forever young

Darling Angel son

The harbour at low tide

Porthmeor Beach

Footprints in the sand

A full life not yet lived

Standard

Monday 4th March

.

Grief is invisible

And I may look okay

But inside my head

There’s pain and dismay

.

Oftentimes smiling

Happiness to display

Trying really hard

To keep the tears at bay

.

My precious sweet Angel

You were taken away

A full life not yet lived

I just wish you could stay

.

Love you forever

River Frome

Standard

Saturday 2nd March

.

Stopping beside the River Frome

Swollen from overnight rain

Bunches of bright yellow daffodils

Swaying breezily in muddy terrain

.

Visiting friends and family

It’s good to get away now and then

Quite a quick journey from Dorset

We are safely back home again

.

Missing you sweetheart

Precious Angel son

17th Century bridge over the River Frome

Bunches of bright yellow daffodils

The river meanders through a wide open valley

We drove to the sea

Standard

Friday 1st March

.

The day started bright

As we drove to the sea

Down the road to Swanage

For chocolate cake and tea

Then a wander round Corfe

Castle ruins to see

A steam train went by

Puffing quite slowly

.

Every step of the way

You came along too

My precious, sweet Angel

Always thinking of you

.

Darling Angel son

The view with breakfast, in Wareham

Corfe Castle at the top of the hill

Seen through the old stone archway

1000 years old…. A Saxon stronghold, a Norman fortress, a royal palace and a family home

Sixteenth century Bankes Arms Hotel

St Edwards Church

Thinking of you constantly

Standard

Thursday 28th February

.

Out for luncheon and afternoon tea

All-you-can-eat, you’d fill your tummy

Inappropriate choices, there’d be many

Crackers, chicken fingers, chips, maybe

All followed by ice cream, lots of jelly

Sprinkles, marshmallows, sauce chocolaty

After all that eating you’d be quite drowsy

Time to go home, fall asleep, snugly

.

Thinking of you constantly

My Angel flying free
