Everywhere I try to find signs

I look for your face in the clouds

I search for you walking in crowds

  

Everywhere I think you’re there

From the little robin that comes to visit

The white feather that flutters for a minute

  

Everywhere there’s a piece of you

In a curving, colourful rainbow

Or the landscape lit in a golden glow

  

My Angel is everywhere

Sitting on the empty chair

Silently flying through the air

  

Anywhere

Somewhere

Over there

My grief becomes less obvious

But don’t doubt it is still there

Kept hidden away within myself

A silent, interminable nightmare

  

I know my grief can’t always be seen
