My Angel plays in the harbour

Among the colourful boats

Splashing through rock pools

And jumping over floats

  

Cut off by the incoming tide

Wading knee-high in the sea

Finally making it to shore

And safely back to me

  

Sandy, wet shoes and trousers

A clue to your escapades

Dodging the truth with smiles

You try to search for mermaids

  

Blowing kisses to heaven

Missing you like crazy
