A little welcome brightness

Standard

Saturday 13th June

.

A little welcome brightness

After the steely, grey rain

This is more like pleasant June

I hope the warmth will sustain

.

Thinking of you

My precious little one

Love you forever

Now forever young

.

Precious Angel son

Rosebud after the rain

Our fuchsia

And abundant pink roses

Quite blustery this afternoon

The RNLI lifeguards start patrolling the beaches today

A few in the sea

Swim between the red and yellow flags

The harbour slipway

Another new day

Standard

Thursday 11th June

.

Another new day

But the love’s the same

Another tomorrow

I’ll still speak your name

Into the future

Your life I’ll explain

Whilst in the past

All that you overcame

Remembering all

As the angel you became

.

Love you poppet

Precious Angel son

Fast moving clouds over the town this morning

Driving on narrow roads again

Hedgerows and trees; an abundance of green

We hardly met any other vehicles

Overcast and grey

Standard

Saturday 6th June

An afternoon drive

Towards Mount’s Bay

Quite chilly and cool

Overcast and grey

But good to be out

Breathe in fresh air

Have time to just watch

Those without a care

.

Thinking of you

Beloved Angel son

The narrow roads of west Cornwall

Beware oncoming cars and tractors

A little wider here

St Michael’s Mount

Reached on foot, at low tide from Marazion

Overcast and grey

Each day

Friday 5th June

Each day blends into the next

And not very much changes

I still miss and love you

As all that life rearranges

.

Love you to the moon and back

Far beyond the stars and moon

Way above this troubled world

Where clouds sing a gentle tune

.

Thinking of you

My darling Angel son

Porthmeor Beach this afternoon

The tide coming in

Sitting on the slipway

Skies clearing

Along the Wharf

Blue skies appearing

Windsor Hill… A steep walk home

Shiny, cobbled streets of old

Standard

Thursday 4th June

.

Shiny, cobbled streets of old

Well trodden down the years

I know you walked along this way

As a sweet memory appears

Round and round the town you trod

In and out of book stores

Head down, minding your own

You really liked to be outdoors

.

And I miss you so

Dearest Angel son

The Digey, St Ives

Porthmeor Beach

Cold and breezy

Hardly anyone on the sand

Self drive boats have appeared in the harbour, ready for day trippers

Still very quiet
