Tuesday 21st June
An afternoon at Zennor
Sitting in the sunshine
In the Tinners beer garden
Looking out to the coastline.
Your brother fancied a beer
And we had a cappuccino
You’d have asked for lemonade
A brownie or a slice of gateaux.
Such a beautiful location
To sit and relax and chat
Watching the scudding clouds
Talking about this and that.
You’re always in my thoughts
Imagining you’re sitting here
I can put my hand on my heart
And then I know you are near.
Love you forever.

Your poem is beautiful and filled with wonderful, though poignant, memories. We were in Cornwall two weeks’ ago, and must have passed by Zennor on our way to St Ives along the winding coast roads. It’s a very beautiful area and your poem and gorgeous photos are a wonderful tribute to your son.

It really is a fabulous place to be; so scenic and so much history.

The best cream tea I ever had was in Zennor. Lovely photos.

Excellent!
The Old Chapel (Backpackers) or the Tinners Arms (pub)?
Both superb places for a cream tea.
