You have the consolation that your son is no longer in pain. In a way, you carry that pain for him.
It sounds as if your grief is overwhelming at times. I’m sure, however, that your website is a way for other mothers who may have lost children to ease theirs. Not everyone is as articulate as you are.
Tragically, there is a great deal of loss in this world. Philadelphia regularly loses children to drive-by shootings http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/real-time/Accidental-shootings-involving-children-in-Philadelphia.html
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) highlights the problem. Whatever the cause of loss, the pain is the same.

Sometimes the grief comes out of nowhere, and is all-consuming.
I find writing about my son, my feelings, my loss, therapeutic in a way. I just want to keep remembering everything about him. I just don’t want the memories to fade.
